The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is an open-air museum telling the story of Ukrainian settlement in east central Alberta from 1892 to 1930.
Become a time traveler and step back in time at this open-air museum. Explore the historical village, go inside historic buildings and chat with costumed staff to learn about the story of early settlement in east central Alberta from 1892-1930. The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village summer season runs from the May long weekend to Labour Day. During this time, we are open Wednesdays to Sundays (and holiday Mondays) from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. Aside from special events in the fall and winter, we are closed to the public after Labour Day to May.
