We are an agricultural operation that strives to profitably and efficiently produce healthy, wholesome beef in an environment that fosters safe, enjoyable and satisfying work for family, staff and local community while encouraging animal welfare, environmental and economic sustainable practices. We have struggled thru difficult moments, we have enjoyed many great days, and embrace the future with optimism.
Kolk Farms Ltd. is a farm which has grown from an 80-acre parcel of irrigated land with a 20 acre contract of sugar beets which newly immigrated Grandpa Kolk and his family worked on. The farm is now owned and ​operated by the third generation with the fourth generation heavily involved in management and operations. We farm both irrigated and dry land crops ranging from hybrid canola to corn, wheat, barley, and much more. This is closely tied to our feedlot operations, ensuring the 20 million lbs of beef we produce in a year are able to be fed and cared for in the best possible way.
