Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS) is Alberta’s only independent Kindergarten–Grade 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). Located on a 220-acre campus in the foothills just south of Calgary, STS provides a dynamic learning environment where academic excellence is paired with experiential learning, outdoor education, athletics, STEM and innovation, and fine arts. As a member of Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) and the Round Square global network, STS prepares students to become thoughtful leaders and engaged global citizens.

We would like to acknowledge that where we are today is within the boundaries of Treaty 7 territory – the ancestral and traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani and Siksika as well as the Tsuu T’ina First Nation and Stoney Nakoda First Nation.
