With over 40 years of previous trucking experience, Marlowe Smith decided to start his own business as an owner operator in 1998, forming the company Marlowe Smith Trucking Ltd today.
In 1999, Marlowe added a second truck and several trailers, operating out of West Lethbridge for 10 years before expanding his company further.
In addition to the new facility and equipment, Marlowe had to hire support staff to assist with his fast growing company, including a sales representative, dispatcher, office manager, mechanic, shop labourer, and safety supervicor. With the help of his experienced and knowledgable staff we have opened opportunities for brokered loads and over sea shipments. Have peace of mind knowing that we can handle all import and export documents as well as permitting and piloting solutions.
